The women's water polo team wrapped up the 2019 season on Nov. 23 winning the CCCAA State Championship in grand fashion by defeating Orange Empire Conference rival Riverside City College 7-6. Fullerton claimed its second state title in program history with the first coming in 2014.

Legal Aid For Dreamers Offered Dec. 2 - 6

Kwanzaa Celebration Hosted Dec. 5
The Fullerton College Ethnic Studies Department and the Umoja Community Program will host the annual Kwanzaa Celebration on Thursday, Dec. 5 featuring special guest speaker Pastor Edward Clarke. Pastor Clarke is the founder of the non-profit Need4Bridges, the pastor at Faith Deliverance Church, and a Fullerton College counselor. Fullerton College Holiday Party
The FC Holiday Party is on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. in Room 224-228. Each employee will receive an opportunity drawing ticket. Those who donate canned food to the Food Bank will receive an extra ticket and those who give monetary donations will receive an extra ticket, for a maximum of three tickets.

Men's Soccer
Visiting No. 6 Oxnard College stunned the No. 3 Hornets 2-0 in the second round of the Southern California Regionals last Tuesday ending another successful season for Fullerton.
Women's Volleyball
The Hornets ended their 2019 campaign last Tuesday in the first round of the Southern California Regionals. Playing on the road against No. 4 El Camino College, FC was edged out by the Warriors 3-2 (19-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-16, 15-10). In her second season as Fullerton's head coach, Megan Glennie has led the Hornets to back-to-back playoffs berths and has the Hornets ranked in the top 25 in state.
Men's Basketball
The No. 3 in state Hornets remain undefeated after a close call at Cerritos College on Saturday night holding off the Falcons 61-60. Up Next: Fullerton (8-0 overall) will play at the Citrus College Crossover Dec. 6-7. On Friday, FC plays Southwestern at 6 p.m., and on Saturday they play Victor Valley at 4 p.m.

Fullerton hosted No. 5 Mount San Jacinto College last Tuesday night and lost to the Eagles 58-51. Up Next: The Hornets (4-3 overall) will host Antelope Valley College on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m.

Presence
Runs until Dec. 2, Art Gallery
Presence explores the meanings of the word, including "a person or thing that exists or is present in a place but is not seen", "a group of people, stationed in a particular place", as well as "a noteworthy quality of poise and effectiveness." Co-curated by collector Dee Kerrison and gallery director Carol Henke, Presence shares the work of artists addressing these concepts, including Patrick Martinez, Gabriella Sanchez, Calida Garcia Rawles, and Diedrick Brackens and more.
The Jazz Band is directed by Bruce Babad. This award winning ensemble performs jazz fusion music as well as standard big band swing jazz throughout the semester. The Vocal Jazz Ensemble is directed by Jamie Shew. J-Train is the premiere vocal jazz performance, touring, and recording ensemble at Fullerton College.
Symphonic Winds
Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m., Campus Theatre
The Symphonic Winds ensemble is the major performing group for wind, brass and percussion music majors at Fullerton College. This ensemble performs standard band literature as well as commissioning new works from both students and established composers. Entrance in the ensemble is by audition. Non-majors are also welcome to join this ensemble.
