As a manufacturer, you’ve most likely used many of the lean tools to help you eliminate waste and variation in your processes. Organizations sometimes struggle on how to improve processes in the office environment, because you cannot easily see the “waste”. Information is passed from department to department, many times waiting on people’s desks to be processed. Missing or incomplete information makes the process stop, causing rework and frustration. This valuable session will provide you with the knowledge you need to get started facilitating a team through a transactional-based Value Stream Mapping event.

Leaders must learn to inspire the curiosity and commitment to service guided by core values that serve both customer and company. This Sept. 7 workshop in De Pere aims to explore the essential elements of effective coaching to bring confidence and competence to change agents and leaders.

Lean Implementations and journeys require a variety of tools that are comprised of a variety of steps. Come join us on Sept. 11 in Wausau for an action- packed breakfast session where we will review the purpose and meaning behind these fundamental methods and have a chance to clarify questions behind these exciting tools and topics in two hours!

Strategy Deployment is a great tool to help you create change by strategically aligning your Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) with your business goals and objectives. Come enjoy breakfast on us and pick up some vital information from Optima's Steven Hirt during this Breakfast Series session on Sept. 13 in Wausau.

Here is a new word for leaders:  Endullment.

Endullment is the opposite of engagement. Endullment comes from education literature and means the dulling of people’s minds through lack of intellectual participation. What are we doing to alleviate endullment in our workplaces? What can leaders do to stop killing their organizations? Come here this valuable presentation on Sept. 27 in De Pere.
