Take Me Out To The Ballgame! July 23
Take Me Out to the Ballgame! Peace is going to the Kane County Cougars game on Monday night, July 23 at 6:30 pm. They'll be playing the South Bend Cubs! Summer Music Concerts At Peace
Two Summer Music Concerts at Peace!
Sinfonietta DuPage will present their annual summer concert on
Monday July 30 at 7:30 pm. This is a small orchestra which rehearses here at Peace year-round.
Tickets are only $5 for Peace members!

American Idol Golden Ticket Winner Julia Gorban will be presenting a concert of classical voice and piano music on
Saturday August 4 at 7 pm. Joining Julia will be Canadian pianist Elena Skorik. Enjoy an evening of songs and music ranging from musical theater to famous classics!

Take a quick break from your summer routine to refresh with God's Word. This summer, we are studying the Book of Philippians.
All you need is your Bible. Philippians is about joy. Joy in the midst of hard work and matters of the heart. Joy that helps us work past difficult times and obstacles. All women are invited. Feel free to invite friends! Come for each week or drop in when you are able. Our last Wednesday will be

Get Fit This Summer!
Summer fitness classes at Peace have just started and only $25 covers any and all classes for the summer. Just come when you can!
Classes meet
Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 9:15-10:15 am through the end of August.

Faith Comes by Hearing has developed an audio Military Bible Stick, and Chaplains can't hand them out fast enough! Our young men and women in uniform are eager for the Word of God, and during the month of July, we are asking the Families of Peace to raise $5,000 to help put the Military Bible Stick in their hands. The Leadership Council has agreed to match that, turning $5,000 into $10,000. And
Faith Comes by Hearing has agreed to match that, making it $20,000! That's 800 Military Bible Sticks, plus another 800 bonus audio Bibles for their families back home. Checks may be made out to Peace Lutheran Church with
Military Bible Stick
on the memo line.
