Lavender Season in Sequim

It's that magical time of year in Sequim, Washington where we are surrounded by purple and the sweet scent of lavender is in the air.

Next week, July 20 - 22, we will celebrate the 22nd year of this versatile and fragrant herb in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley during Sequim Lavender Weekend.  But the fun is just getting started.  If you can't make it to Lavender Weekend, many farms are open throughout the summer and welcome visitors to enjoy the beautiful fields, learn about harvest and oil distillation, and shop for hand-crafted lavender products.

There's still a lot of lavender season left.  Plan your trip now to enjoy the Sequim Lavender Experience.  Our website will help you with all of the details.
A Summer Full of Lavender
The lavender blooms all summer long, but the highlight of summer in Sequim is the Sequim Lavender Weekend, July 20 - 22.  Visitors come from all over the world to enjoy the world-class street fair, located this year at beautiful Carrie Blake Park, the farm festivals and events, and a host of community activities including wine tasting, a golf tournament, quilt show, art shows, concerts and dances.  Learn more at Sequim Lavender Weekend.

Sequim Lavender Farms are known for their high quality of lavender and products.

If you can't make it to Sequim Lavender Weekend, no worries.  Many of the farms are open throughout the summer and are excited to share their lavender farming experience with visitors.  You might find them in the middle of harvest and see how they dry and process lavender.  Or you might catch a farm distilling lavender essential oil.  There is usually always something happening in the summer, so stop by a few farms and learn what life on a lavender farm is all about.
