Peter DiSano is a licensed Florida Realtor representing buyers and sellers of residential properties. He has served his community well for several years now, volunteering on behalf of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce to help new members navigate through the Chamber's array of offerings and benefits. Peter can be found volunteering his time to support new businesses at Chamber sponsored Ribbon Cuttings and activities. He also volunteers at the monthly Business After Hours and whenever there is a special need. Most recently, Peter volunteered his time helping the Daytona Regional Chamber and the Volusia Chamber Alliance with their annual Mega Mixer event at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on June 7th. Join us for a panel discussion with Tim Curtis, Owner, Houligan's, Carmen Ruiz, Vice President, FASTSIGNS of Daytona Beach, and Marsha Cooksey, Realtor, Realty Pros Assured who will discuss strategies to identify the varying needs and expectations of an intergenerational customer base.
Location: Daytona State College, Bldg. 150, Room 101, 1200 W. International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach.
Cost: $10 for chamber members with 24-hour advanced RSVP, $15 day of the event, and $20 for non-members.

Award Applications Available
Now Accepting Award Nominations
We are now accepting applications for the 2018 Small Business of the Year Award. There are two categories for the small business awards - companies with 1-10 employees and companies with 11-50 employees. And new for 2018, the Chamber will also select its first-ever
Nonprofit of the Year
. The applications are judged by chamber professionals or business consultants outside of the region with finalists selected in each category. Other awards nominations include the Young Professional of the Year and the Marvin Samuels Memorial Leadership Award.
The finalists will be announced in late September. The award winners will be announced in early October, and formally recognized at the Chamber's 5th Annual Awards Luncheon, Thursday, November 1, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at The Shores Resort & Spa.
