Now Accepting 2020 Freshy Award Nominations!
Nominate a CalFresh Champion from your Community

This holiday break, take a little time to give thanks and show your appreciation for a CalFresh champion from your community. Submit a nomination for a 2020 Freshy Award to honor the contributions of individual Californians and organizations that have worked diligently in the last year to improve CalFresh. CFPA will collect information about each nominee in order to develop a voting ballot that will be distributed in January 2020. Based on your votes, the Freshy Award winners will be announced at the 2020 CalFresh Forum on February 5th in Sacramento. Don't wait, nominations close December 31st!


A 2020 Freshy will be awarded to a nominee in each of the following categories:
  • Administrator of the Year
  • Outreach Leader of the Year
  • Grassroots Mobilizer of the Year
  • Elected Official or Capitol Staffer of the Year
The Freshy Award nomination process will close on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 6pm.

Registration Now Open!
Join us at the 2020 CalFresh Forum, February 5 in Sacramento

Registration for the 2020 CalFresh Forum is now open! You can easily register online and learn more  about the Forum by visiting the CalFresh Forum webpage. We are asking for a $50 registration fee to help cover the costs of organizing and hosting the Forum. The registration fee includes your attendance, lunch, and light refreshments.



When: Wednesday, February 5, 9:30am to 3:30pm
