Thank a Disabled Veteran by Sponsoring Sept. 20 Golf Tournament
There are 43 disabled veterans who would like to play in the Veterans Golf Tournament on September 20, but more sponsors are needed to accommodate all those who have told the VA they would like to play. If you would like to say "thank you" to a disabled veteran and join them for a relaxing day of golf at Cypresswood Golf Club, please consider  a $200 sponsorship to cover the cost of green fees and meals for yourself and a veteran partner.  Click here to register your sponsorship. Help HBA Collect 25,000 Books
To mark the 25th anniversary of the HBA's annual fall book drive, the Lawyers for Literacy Committee aims to collect 25,000 book donations this year! Click here for more information. Contact Bonnie Simmons to confirm your participation and for materials to set up book collections.
Volunteer at Special Olympics Golf Tournament, September 17
Special Olympics Texas - Area 4 is in need of volunteer referees, assistants and buddies for athletes, and is asking the HBA for help! Anyone can volunteer at the SOTX Golf Tournament, Monday, September 17, 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Windrose Golf Club. Click here to sign up.
Educate High Schoolers on the Importance of Jury Service

The HBA has sent out membership dues statements for the 2018-2019 bar year.
