Reported closings for the month of June were 479, up from last month by about 43%. Average market times were shorter in the towns of Fairfield, Greenwich, Weston and Westport but longer in Darien compared to May. Median sale prices, which fluctuate monthly, increased a bit in Greenwich and New Canaan but remained flat in other towns. Sales over $2.0 million account for about 10% of the market activity which is typical in this area with about 68% of sales below the $1.0 million price point.
