This course is designed to be a thought-provoking elevator education presentation geared towards the architect, specifier, and designers of mid-rise buildings
(7-20 stories)

Lunch starts at 11:30 and the program begins promptly at noon.

Renewal FAQs  How do I access the online renewal portal? The link is found in the Licensee Log In section on the home page at  www.ncbarch.org.  For individual registration, select Licensed Architect Log In.  

What information do I need to renew on line?  You will need your license number and PIN.  As a courtesy, this information will  be emailed to you on May 15, 2018 with your notice of renewal.   

I was licensed as a North Carolina Architect during 2018, how do answer the CE  questions?  You may indicate that you have  complied, since the rules state that you are exempt for the calendar year in which you become licensed.   

May I renew on line if I must answer Yes to any of the Moral Character Data Questions?  No.  You must submit a paper renewal  form with details of the issue. 

I don't want to renew on line, how can I renew my license?  You may download a 2018-2019 renewal form  from the forms section of www.ncbarch.org.   

I'm no longer practicing architecture in North Carolina so I don't need to renew the license.  What will happen if I don't renew?  Your license will expire on June 30, 2018 and be placed on delinquent status. Should you decide you need the license, you can  renew with a late fee.   After one year, it will be administrative revoked for non-renewal.  This is a non-disciplinary action. There  is no 'inactive' status.

A RE 4.0 RETIRES ON JUNE 30TH


The retirement of ARE 4.0 is less than two months away. Over the past year, NCARB's ongoing communication initiatives
have included emails, postcards, social media campaigns, webinars, and more. As we enter the final months of ARE 4.0's delivery, here are some important things to share with licensure candidates.
The last day to take an ARE 4.0 division in a test center is June 30, 2018.
Candidates who have not completed ARE 4.0 by this date will need to complete any remaining divisions in ARE 5.0 to satisfy the examination requirement for licensure.
