AAC Workshops for Students

Attend one of the peer-led AAC's workshops this fall! We have completely revamped our offerings and are now featuring: Microsoft Excel Basics, Presentation Skills, Academic Financial Planning, and Online Course Support. This is a great place to get specific support regarding a single topic and meet other students who are looking for guidance in the same area.
Head to achieve.uconn.edu/pres/workshops/ for the schedule and more details.

The AAC & Your LC

Directors & Instructors: Request a presentation for your LC FYE class this fall. We have re-branded our presentations, created new activities, and would love to support LC students.
Go to achieve.uconn.edu/pres/request/ to submit a request and preview some of the slides for each presentation.

Welcome New LC Team Members!
Sara Dahlen
Learning Community Program Assistant
Sara is originally from southeastern Connecticut and attended UConn briefly. During her junior year, Sara relocated to eastern North Carolina to help take care of family. While in NC, she earned a degree in Hospitality Management from East Carolina University. After graduation, she joined the staff at ECU and worked in the Dean's Office for the College of Human Ecology. After spending 12 years in NC, Sara was homesick for New England and took a job in Porstmouth, NH as the Event Coordinator for a Chamber of Commerce. It was during this time when Sara realized how much she missed working with students in higher education and is very excited to be back in the world of higher education and home, closer to friends and family. She is looking forward to working with you all!
