It's been almost a decade since the last San Diego Master Gardeners Garden Tour and it will be worth the wait! Tickets are now on sale for the tour featuring 9 glorious East County gardens.

They are all lead donors of our Fall Garden Tour. This exciting event is being pollinated by many more generous contributors. Bountiful thanks to them all.

It's likely this month will be dry and your plants will need careful monitoring to ensure they are well hydrated. Did you know many succulents also need summer water?

 
Did you know that yellow jackets are wasps, not bees? That they can sting multiple times? And that they can ruin a picnic faster than you can say "pass the mustard"?

I love having birds in my yard, but they are enjoying my backyard orchard more than me! How can I protect my investment and effectively stop birds from eating or damaging the fruit?

The most effective method is exclusion with netting.
