NFIP Call For Action!

The House of Representatives, Wednesday, passed an extension of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The vote was 366 to 52 easily clearing the two-thirds vote threshold (287) required by House rules.

Our Representative in Congress, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, voted yes.

The extension measure now moves to the United States Senate.

The Senate vote has not been scheduled.

NAR has modified our CFA to urge the Senate to act before the program expires on July 31, 2018.

Following the Senate vote, NAR will shut down the Call For Action.
