GREAT NEWS!

T'is the season - and Dance Alive National Ballet is pleased to announce that it has just received
gifts from three generous agencies/trusts.

The AEC Trust has sent a generous gift to support DANB's mission to provide arts and educational programming for our community.   We truly appreciate the support, trust in and recognition of the quality of DANB's programming.

Cox has a commitment to supporting educational programs.
This year a grant from Cox will provide support for 5 Nutcracker school programs, 2 Lady Bug school shows and The Magic of Nutcracker.   Support provides access in part to over 6,000 children.  BRAVO!

Publix Super Markets Charities
is providing corporate support for Dance Alive National Ballet's CHAMPAGNE GALA, February 29th.   This event - which includes Gainesville's Dancing With The Stars - is DANB's major fund-raising event; providing funding for performance and educational programs.

You can't tell it from the above photo of Rosemary Deiorio and Rachel Ridley taken by Suzanne Mars at Legacy Park, but these leaps were taken just before we had to call a halt to the performance due to rain and wind.
NOW we had to break down tents, floors, lights and musical and lighting equipment.
Imagine doing it in the dark!

Thank you LITTLE GUYS MOVERS who moved, laid floor and then stayed to help with striking the show and returning above to studio and warehouse.

For us ...  IT WAS A GREAT HOLIDAY GIFT!

LITTLE GUYS MOVERS supports MOVE FOR HUNGER.  When you move, give them a call and they will deliver food goods to our local food pantry.
