The GREY LADYS NAVY
Invites you (Sailing Angels) to sail for Christ. This is a spiritual Navy that offers solitude, family bonding, and option for teenagers and adults to get on the water. A great option for spiritual, mental and physical health.
We have a fleet of 5 sunfish sailboats and one fishing boat on Saschacha Pond. Quidnet. Its free and we invite you to use them. If you don’t know how to sail we teach in winds under 12mph and you can be up and sailing on your own in one afternoon! or fishing anytime early morning and evening. Jazz at St. Paul's August 5, 4:00pm
Renowned saxophonist and composer George Young and his Friendship Lane band with Nigel Goss on bass, Damion Elliott on piano, and Ecliff Graves on drums will perform in concert on Sunday, August 5th at 4:00pm at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 16 Fair Street. No charge, but a free-will offering for the musician's will be collected. They will also play at the 10:00 am service on August 5th.

Collection for Food Pantry
Our next collection for the Food Pantry will occur this Sunday, August 5, at both services.
You are encouraged to bring a brown grocery bag containing your favorite non-perishable items that you would purchase for yourself. In addition to food stuffs, needed items include those not eligible for food stamps – for example, laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoo and cleaning supplies.
Checks payable to St. Paul’s and marked for the Food Pantry are welcome at any time. These contributions will be used to purchase groceries and sundries for our neighbors in need

St. Paul’s Annual School Supply Drive
This Sunday, August 5th we will kick off our Annual School Supply Drive. The donations we collect are distributed in all three Nantucket Public Schools – elementary, middle school and high school. The supplies we provide help the students directly and are very much appreciated each year. A “shopping list” of suggested supplies is provided in the Sunday Bulletin and below. Please consider taking part in this important St. Paul’s outreach and help to make this school year a success for all students.

We are looking for volunteers to make smaller arrangements from the Sunday altar flowers to be delivered to those in the community who are ill, housebound, just need cheering, or are to be thanked for extraordinary service of some kind. St. Paul’s Summer Choir
A strong, vibrant, fun-loving summer choir is a long-standing tradition at St. Paul’s Church in Nantucket. Whether you’re on island for a few weekends, a couple of weeks, a month or all season long, we welcome anyone with a love for singing and the desire to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.” Rehearsals are Saturdays from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, Parish House Choir Room. Sunday service at 9:30am.

Calling all St. Paul’s youth
Parishioners or Summer Congregants – Come join in the fun.
Joe Hammer is inviting youth to participate in St. Paul’s as a Youth Chorister. The chorister program will be based upon the Royal School of Church Music in America’s renowned Voice for Life, which provides a framework for choral singers to develop their vocal skills and musical understanding, while singing fun and interesting songs. Previous music experience required…none! The opportunities to explore ways to make music…tons!
