Don't give up when you're in the darkest places
Sermon Title: A Cave
Scripture:  1 Kings 19

Have you ever found yourself in a dark place, where it seems as if there is nowhere to escape? If you have, don't despair. So did the mighty prophet Elijah. This Sunday, we will watch as God meets with Elijah in the darkest of places and encourages him to never give up. Join us as we echo the words of Paul in Galatians 6: "And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."
Welcome Rae and Chip Caggiulia
Please join us in welcoming Rae Tyler Caggiula as MC3 Church's new children's minister.

Rae has a long history of ministry service, including many years at Mount Carmel as the Children's Minister, and we feel blessed to have her step into this new role. In addition to her many years of experience as a children's minister, Rae has a servant's heart and a love for children that is vital for a successful ministry.

Among her previous roles, Rae served as the Children’s Minister at First Christian Church of Cumming, McDonough Christian Church, Snellville Christian Church and Crosspoint Christian Church. She also helped Dan Garrett with the formation of Christian Church of Buckhead.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Rae became a sister for the first time at age 15 and says that’s when she first fell in love with children. Rae was married for many years to the late Glendon Tyler and they had two sons, David and Michael, who have given her four grandsons and one granddaughter. On June 22 this year, she married Chip Caggiula and instantly became the stepmother of six children and seven more grandchildren.

We are delighted to have Rae and Chip join our MC3 Church family.
Are you ready to rumble?
We hope you're looking forward to Sunday's picnic and fellowship after worship service as much as we are.

The fun will begin at noon at Lilburn City Park. The church will provide fried chicken and drinks, and we hope you'll bring a couple of your favorite foods or desserts to share with everyone.

After eating, get ready for the first annual MC3 Cornhole Tournament. We'll have adult, student and children's divisions. You can enter as a team or individually and we'll pair you up with someone. Big prizes are stake!

More muscle needed
We need your muscles to help us set up and tear down equipment for Sunday services at Parkview High School.

To help with set-up, please arrive by 8 a.m. Tear down begins immediately after service.

Starting next Sunday, we will once again be packing our belongings into a trailer for storage. This will require a greater number of servants to help us transport equipment and supplies in and out of the Parkview auditorium.
