Students who register for ECP, also have the opportunity to  apply to be part of the Language Improvement Track (LIT). LIT is for students who are more interested in developing their English speaking and listening skills, and students who are more interested in teaching language and interpersonal skills.

Registration is now open to new members and will be accepted on a rolling basis. Contact Dan Montour with any questions.

Academic Success Credit-Bearing Course for International Students

Reach out to VILLAGE for Answers to Everyday Questions
"It takes a village to raise a child" - The origin of this phrase is unknown. Some say it is an African proverb with the basic meaning that it takes more than just a child's parents to raise a child. Everyone in the village or community is responsible to make sure that a child learns proper values and understand right from wrong.

The Office of International Affairs developed  VILLAGE, which stands for Valuable Insight, Life Lessons and General Exchanges, to apply those same principles for students who seek guidance.

You have your friends for relationship advice. If you're feeling sad or emotionally distraught, you have campus professionals at Student Life's Counseling and Consultation Service available to help. But what about everything else?

You can email  [email protected] for support! Your email will be answered with the best response within 24 hours.

This service should not replace the need to seek professional advice for very serious matters, If you have an emergency, call your doctor, go to the emergency department or call 9-1-1 immediately.
