Join us Thursday, August 9th at 6:00pm at Shenanigans Irish Pub - Dahlonega for a special evening of fun and learning. Get to know the rock stars who are giving hope to our hemlocks... and learn about other efforts to conserve north Georgia’s hemlocks at this first installment of the Foothills Science Series.

Hear from some of the players in the band: UNG - University of North Georgia researcher Stacie James, U.S. Forest Service Southern Research Station entomologist Dr. Bud Mayfield, and Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests Silviculturist Mike Hennigan.

Plan to bring a friend for a festive and educational evening! Please, share this with others who care about the forest and encourage them to sign up to get on the bus and receive emails on this collaborative effort.

Thank you for working together with us to do the right work in the right places for the right reasons.
