PLANNING UNDERWAY FOR
2021 INDEPENDENCE DAY
CELEBRATION

St. Germain's Independence Day Celebration Committee, a standing committee of the Town Board, met recently to begin planning the Town's 2021 Independence Day celebration events scheduled for Sunday, June 27th (the Sunday before July 4th). It is the sincere hope of the Committee that COVID vaccinations will be far enough along to enable all residents and visitors to safely participate in the day-long series of events.

As has always been true, this year's celebration will rely on many citizen volunteers and local clubs and organizations to make the day a success. Since this will hopefully be the biggest and best celebration ever, even more help than usual will be needed during the months of planning.

If you are a member of a local club or organization that has not participated in the planning or has not sponsored an event during past Independence Day Celebrations, please consider having your group join the list of past partners such as the ATV/UTV Club, the Freedom 5K Run, the Lions Club, the UCC Thrift Shop or St. Germain's Fire Department.

Please visit the Independence Day Celebration Committee page on the town website and feel welcome to contact any of the Committee's voting members for more details.
