Health Clinic Needs Assessment Administered by Project C.U.R.E.
Four clinics in the HealeyIRF Charity Health Network underwent a comprehensive needs assessment in April, administered by Project C.U.R.E. We are greatly appreciative to have had this information captured so we can improve equipment and provide necessary medical supplies.
Sister Njoku graduated Divine Mission University with a Master of Science in Psychology on May 18th. She is the first to receive her degree through our Conrad H. Hilton Foundation grant, which is providing scholarships to Sisters to study in fields that can support healthcare services in Sierra Leone.
We have made a few trips to Sierra Leone this spring to check in with our staff, programs, and visit HealeyIRF supported facilities. We are very pleased to see the country flourishing and the people working hard.
With the recent Presidential elections in Sierra Leone taking precedence to all other matters, we are happy to finally announce that all shipping waivers have been reinstated and shipments can once again be cleared into the country. We are so excited to send out a container full of donations in the beginning of June!
