Our St. Serra PTO Outreach Team joyfully announces our 2020 Adopt-a-Family program!
We are partnering once again with Catholic Charities to bring Christmas to 40 families in need. This year, many families are asking for life-giving and essential necessities, such as food, warm clothing and school supplies.

During this school year, our primary goal is to keep our students and staff healthy and safe. Therefore, we urge you to keep your children home when they are sick and stay in communication with the Health Room regarding your child’s health. We are providing the link to the Student Symptom Decision Tree given to us by the OC Health Care Agency for your reference. Please use this guide to assist you when your child is ill. If you have any questions regarding our COVID-19 policy for sick students, please feel free to contact Mary Hogan in the Health Room for TK through 8th grade, or Mrs. Carol Reiss for preschool students.

COVID-19 Health & Safety Reminders |
As cases of COVID-19 continue to rise nationally, we must remain diligent with our COVID health and safety protocols which include wearing masks while on school grounds.(Anytime that a face shield is worn, it must be with a face mask under the shield for all staff and students in all grades). It is important that we practice social distancing throughout our school and maintain good hygiene by washing your hands on a consistent basis. Finally, if you are feeling ill and displaying any COVID-19 related symptoms, please stay home and contact your family medical professional regarding the situation. We appreciate your continued support which will help St. Serra stay open for in-person learning.

Diocese of Orange Announcement Regarding Out of State Travel |
In light of the recent announcement by the California Department of Public Health discouraging “out of state travel” and suggesting a 14-day quarantine for out of state travelers (see the travel advisory), the Diocese of Orange has asked all of its schools to follow the protocol below should a student travel out of state during the upcoming holiday period:

Students and families who travel out of state can transition to distance learning for 14 days upon their return or are requested to provide a negative COVID-19 test result for re-entry to campus.

During Thanksgiving Break, all online programs for re-loadable and e-cards
are available. If you have the RaiseRight app (part of ShopWithScrip) some

Live Streamers: We Want to See You! |
Attention Live Streaming Students: We are launching a social media photo campaign to showcase all our live streamers who are showing their St. Serra Spirit! Take a photo of your live streaming home setup wearing your St. Serra gear and email it to [email protected]. We will share your photos on our social media pages and in the Sunday News! Although we are not together physically, we are still united as one family. Together, we are Serra Strong!

With the cooler mornings, we have had a huge increase in sweatshirts and outerwear showing up all over campus and ultimately ending up in the Lost and Found. Our staff do their best to go through these items and return them to their rightful owners BUT that can only happen if there is a name on them somewhere. This holds true for lunchboxes as well. |
