GSSCC member Digital Industry will lead a free lunchtime workshop providing "
Clear Concise & Ac tionable Business Cyber Security Solutions" from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, in the GSSCC conference room.  

Speakers Mark Meszaros and James Casamento will discuss  tactics to help businesses avoid trouble; how  to put a plan in motion; and  steps for implementation.  

Lunch will be provided by Ruth's Chris Steak House, courtesy of Digital Industry.

What Does the 2020 Census Mean for You?

The GSSCC Non-Profit Team will host a workshop on the 2020 census at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 8, in the GSSCC conference room. The program will be presented by Shawn Ellis, Montgomery County's 2020 Census Manager. All Chamber members are welcome to attend and learn about how the census affects our community, and how your organization or business can get involved. Congratulations, Welcome Akhmedova Ballet Academy
GSSCC President Jane Redicker was pleased to lead the ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of  Akmedova Ballet Academy  (8505 Fenton St. #206). Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and Dave Kunes, representing Counselmember Tom Hucker, joined owner Jacqueline Akmedova and her ballet students to cut the ribbon. The academy trains dancers for positions in professional dance companies worldwide.
