Village of Long Grove
Please Consider Supporting All Long Grove Businesses!
Despite the Illinois Governor's plan to Restore Illinois, it remains uncertain as to when and how non-essential businesses will be able to fully reopen. This is why supporting all businesses that are currently in operation, including those providing limited or modified products or services, is so important! Businesses that are classified as 'non-essential' are able to provide customer orders via phone or online, and allow curbside pickup or delivery. Please visit this link to view a list of all the Village's businesses, and visit their websites or reach out to them directly for up-to-date information on their products or services. Please do what you can to support them through this uncertain time. To learn more about the Restore Illinois plan from the Illinois governor, click here. The latest update is that bar/restaurants may be able to offer outdoor dining as soon as May 29, 2020, restrictions on golf could be relaxed, and more. Click here for additional information.
Neighborhood Cleanup June 6-7

Long Grove residents are encouraged to take part in the yearly Neighborhood Cleanup - originally planned for late April but postponed due to the pandemic. The cleanup will take place this year on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, 2020. During these two days, any trash picked up by residents around the community can be placed in normal plastic garbage bags, and left at the roadside, which will be collected by Waste Management the week of June 8. For questions, please call Village Hall at 847-634-9440

Downtown Long Grove Businesses Open for Operation - Virtually!
When times are tough, downtown Long Grove rises to the occasion and stands strong together. Despite the aftereffects of COVID-19, the business community in historic downtown Long Grove is united in keeping the engine running through a campaign launched in April called #LovinLongGrove . Merchants have been creative and continue to provide services to the local community and first responders. The Historic Downtown Long Grove Business Association (HDLGBA) has transformed LongGrove.org into a one-stop business resource that provides hours of operation, curbside pickup/delivery options and other relevant merchant news.

The HDLGBA also created the Shop, Pop & Go campaign:
1. SHOP online or call to place your orders
2. Drive up, POP your trunk (orders placed safely in vehicle without contact)
3. GO home to enjoy and keep #LovinLongGrove
HDLGBA Virtual Chocolate Fest!
The always popular Chocolate Festival had to be canceled due to the pandemic, so the HDLGBA instead hosted a live-streamed free Virtual Chocolate Fest May 14-15, 2020. More than a dozen downtown merchants featured chocolate recipe demonstrations, chocolate/beer pairings, chocolate cocktail making, chocolate-infused beauty applications and more! Click here to view videos from virtual Chocolate Fest, and  here for more information about the HDLGBA and its member businesses.
