Hello
Welcome to August; Hot Hot Hot! Listen for the Cicada (Heat bug) !
According to Wikipedia "The Dog Days of Summer" is referred to as the 'sultry part of Summer, when Sirius, The Dog Star, rises at the same time as the sun. It is a period marked by lethargy, inactivity or indolence.' :) I would have to agree! Sounds like a great time to take it easy and open a bottle of wine.
The kids (or maybe the parents) are thinking about back to school!
The CNE (Let's go to the EX) opens with lots of delicious treats like pancake bacon tacos! There's a wine for that! :)
Eve and I recently spent a great week in the Bancroft area; kayaking, running, cycling, relaxing and drinking wine on the dock! Hope you can enjoy some time away and relaxation this summer too.

DID YOU KNOW!
The entire dandelion plant is edible. 100g of its leaves provides almost 750% of your recommended daily intake of Vitamin K, the flowers can be used to make wine, the root can be used to make a coffee-tasting drink and it is also used in several soft drinks. I've got lots at my house if anyone needs some :)
