COVID-19 Testing of Nursing Home and Adult Care Facility Employees
On May 19, the New York State Department of Health issued a memo with additional guidance on Executive Order 202.30, which required all nursing home and adult care facility employees to be tested for COVID-19 twice per week. A copy of this memo is linked below.

Effective immediately, the testing of nursing home and adult care facility employees has been deemed Medically Necessary by the New York State Department of Health. Under this designation, the testing of these employees should be covered under commercial employee health insurance plans.
