VAUGHAN INTRODUCES DAY CAMPS 
DURING PENDING SCHOOL CLOSURE


The Recreation Services department has introduced day camps pending the school closure that may start next week. The camps will be begin on Monday, Oct. 7 and are for children aged six to 12 years old. These camps will be available until the closure ends and will be operating from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Residents interested in registering their children for programs can do so online or in person at community centres across the city, except for Rosemount Community Centre and Woodbridge Pool Memorial and Arena.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is now available online and in person at community centres. The cost for the week at community centres is $195 per child and registration is currently available up to the week of Oct. 28. Weeks will be added if required and fees will be refunded in full for any days remaining at the end of the school closure. A special Trip Takers camp will also run from City Hall with local out trips planned daily at a cost of $289.25 per child for the week.
