Appalachian Gap Distillery Commits to Become Climate Neutral Certified
Appalachian Gap Distillery of Middlebury, Vermont, is proud to announce it has committed to become Climate Neutral Certified. The company will be working with Climate Neutral, an independent non-profit organization that helps companies measure their carbon footprint, offset it in its entirety by purchasing quality carbon credits, and reduce emissions moving forward. Freeland Spirits Releases Cocktail Kit Honoring Kamala Harris
To celebrate the swearing in of Kamala Harris as vice president, Freeland Spirits of Portland, Oregon, is releasing the Queen Kamala cocktail kit. Harris is the nation’s first female vice president, and the first Black and South Asian person to serve as vice president. (CraftSpiritsMag.com) 
Wigle Whiskey Announces Collaborations to Celebrate Groundhog Day
In partnership with the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club, Pennsylvania beverage makers Wigle Whiskey and Threadbare Cider have created limited edition batches of their whiskey and cider in tribute to Pennsylvania’s favorite groundhog in his 135th year of prognosticating. (CraftSpiritsMag.com)

ACSA's 8th Annual Judging of Craft Spirits is now open for entries. ACSA takes great pride in conducting a rigorously professional judging program that recognizes the best craft spirits in the categories of Vodka/Grain, Gin, Brandy, Rum, Ready-to-Drink, Whiskey, and Specialty Spirits.

Register now to take advantage of general registration fees until Feb. 28. The late riser fee will be from March 1 until registration closes on March 12.

All spirits must be received by March 17. The competition is open to all producers of craft spirits in the United States. Due to COVID-19 we will not be accepting international entries in this year's competition.

General Fee: $250 per entry
Late Riser: $275 per entry

Craft Maltsters Guild Goes Virtual With 2021 Craft Malt Conference
The Craft Maltsters Guild proudly presents the fourth annual Craft Malt Conference, coming to you in a virtual format from February 10-12. Alcohol Associations Call for Suspension of Tariffs on Spirits and Wine
The American Craft Spirits Association and a coalition of 20 additional trade associations representing U.S., European Union, and United Kingdom wine, distilled spirits and related sectors recently expressed disappointment in new U.S. tariffs going into effect on certain Cognac, other grape brandies and non-sparkling wine from France and Germany. (CraftSpiritsMag.com)

The American Craft Spirits Association is the only national registered non-profit trade association representing the U.S. craft spirits industry. Its mission is to elevate and advocate for the community of craft spirits producers, and membership in ACSA is open to anyone. 

ACSA is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the eligible voting members of the Association. Voting members must be independent licensed distillers (DSPs) annually removing fewer than 750,000 proof gallons from bond (the amount on which a Federal Excise Tax is paid.)
