Welcome Our New CEO!

Former CFO Randall Crow has been appointed CEO and President of QualChoice. He takes over for Mike Stock, who retired June 30. Randall has over 30 years' experience in managed care and the hospital industry. We're happy to have him at the helm! Randall was profiled in Arkansas Business on July 9.

Form 5500 Due July 31

Plan sponsors of employee benefit plans must file Form 5500/5500-SF electronically each year to satisfy annual reporting requirements under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the Internal Revenue Code. The due date is the last day of the seventh month after the plan year ends (July 31 for a calendar-year plan).

NEW for MediQ65
Medicare Supplement insurance is now available to those under 65 who are Medicare-eligible due to disability. A few QualChoice MediQ65 reminders:
  • Clients may change plans any time of year, not just during Open Enrollment, for a 1/1 effective date, without underwriting.
  • Members on any plan except the regular "Plan F" are eligible for discount preventive dental services.
