The Proof is in the People: Faculty Spotlights!
Amy Cavaliere holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Exercise Physiology as well as a Masters of Arts in Athletic Training from Ohio University. Amy is a certified Athletic Trainer who has worked at both Foran High School and Stratford High School.

Ms Cavaliere will be teaching Biology at St Joes this year! She comes to us from Shelton High School where she taught Honors General Science, Academic Biology, and 12 th grade Anatomy and Physiology.  Welcome, Ms Cavaliere!
Thomas Forde is an English Teacher at St Joes and will moderate our new broadcast journalism class this year. He writes:

Very few schools in the country can boast what we have to offer. I was elated when I was selected to teach this new course. I spent 17 years working in broadcast journalism and look forward to sharing my experience with students who either may be interested in the field, or just want to have fun and become campus celebrities.

I want this course to entertain and serve the entire SJ community. I want students to unleash their creativity on an SJTV audience that will rate the broadcast as a daily highlight. I want this to be the most fun class offered at St Joes!

There is still room available in Mr Forde's broadcast journalism class. Adding this class will not change any student’s current schedule. All grades levels are welcome. Interested students should contact their Guidance Counselor to join!
Parents, Alumni, Friends: Join Us for Vines & Steins!
September 26 at 6:30PM
Vines & Steins is St Joseph High School's annual wine and beer tasting social.

It's a wonderful event that kicks off the new year and gives all of our parents, alumni, and friends a chance to reconnect and make new friends. Each attendee (must be 21 and over) will receive a St Joes wine glass to taste fine wine and beer from guest vendors Glenro Spirit Shoppe and craft beer from BADSONS Beer Company. Hors d'oeuvres will be served by Cinch and beautiful baskets will be raffled off.

We hope you'll join us! Click here to register!
Gearing Up for Fall Sports: Pride in Maroon & Gold!
Fall Sports Parent-Student Meeting - Sept 5

The SJ Athletics Fall Sports Parents meeting will be held next Wednesday, September 5th at 6:30pm in the gym.

This meeting is mandatory for all athletes and each student must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. Breakout meetings for each individual sport will follow.
Fall Sports Are Back!

Athletic involvement is such a crucial element of our community with over 80% of student playing at least one sport. Our students' involvement presents unique opportunities to build character, integrity, discipline, and sportsmanship. Whether your are an athlete or a supporter, the pride and camaraderie is what sets SJ apart from the rest. Check the schedule and join us in the cheering section! We are so proud of all our teams!

New Students - Mark Your Calendars!

On Sunday, September 9, new freshmen, transfer, and international students will join together at St Joes with their families to celebrate and officially join our community at the annual New Student Bible Mass.
