Mentoring
The first mentoring session will be this Thursday, September 12th. They will be getting to know their mentors during this time.
FCA "Good Neighbor" Golf Classic
Just a reminder about our golf tournament next Monday at Whitetail Golf Resort. We have a full flight! Thank you to everyone who signed up. If you would still like to donate a door prize for the tournament we are still accepting items.
Drop Off Procedures for the A.M.
Please be aware that the elementary student drop off line has been a bit congested in the mornings primarily because of parents walking students into the school. Only Pre-K parents should be walking their child into the school building at this time of the year unless you have something to bring into the building that your child cannot carry . If you need to enter the building please only park in an actual parking space in the center of the lot or along the fence or in the secondary side of the building. Then when entering, please use the crosswalk and designated sidewalks. If you must enter the school, you will need to stop at the office window and avoid walking down the elementary hallway unless you are signing in a Pre-K student.
Thank you for helping us make this a safe and efficient process for all.
Family Billing Statements
Family billing statements will be emailed during the first week of each month. Please remember that before/after care, tutoring, and sports fees are paid directly to FCA. All fees are billed for the previous month’s activity (i.e. August’s after care is billed in September). Please contact Mr. Baker with any questions. Prizes for summer reading are going in mailbags today to go home tomorrow. Kudos to the 25 students who participated! There will be more reading challenges this year! 
Clued In Annual Auction
Save the date!! November 8th @ 6PM our 30th Annual Auction! We are beginning to plan for the big event and would love your help securing some amazing items for the silent and live auction. We are looking for "New or Like New Items". Have a gift that you would like to re-purpose? Some items that always do well at the auction are antique furniture, sports tickets, gift certificates, vacation homes. Guidance Information
There is a Guidance Department bulletin board in the HS hallway outside of Mr. Keppley's room. Any scholarship/internship and other related opportunities will be posted to this board. Check in periodically if you have interest in these items.
Drop/Add Classes
High school students can drop or add classes through Friday, September 20th
Attendance
Absentee notes can be emailed to Joy Hobbs at joy.hobbs@faithchristianacademy.net . Please be aware that parents will not be notified if a note is not submitted. It is the responsibility of the parent or student to communicate with the teachers concerning absences and make up work.
Physical Education Uniforms for Middle School & High School
Students in 6th – 12th grade who have physical education must have a 'Faith Christian Academy' t-shirt for gym class. It can be purchased from our “Falcon Spirit Shop”. Click here to order.
