This Sunday in Worship from Pastor Darren:
This Sunday is a special event in the life of our annual conference. An “Aldersgate Sunday” worship service will be led by the bishop and the extended cabinet (the district superintendents and conference directors). Aldersgate Sunday is the day we remember John Wesley’s "heart-warming experience" that inspired the Methodist movement. Every church in our conference has been encouraged to air this service. It will be available this Sunday on our YouTube page. The following Sunday we will be back to our regularly scheduled broadcast at 11 a.m.
There will be no bulletin this Sunday.
Last Sunday's service can be found

.
Last week's bulletin is

The notes from last Sunday's sermon are

Please continue to give by making contributions through the "online giving" tab on our
website
or by mailing them to the church at 3808 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46208.

Project Transformation
This year Project Transformation (PT) will look a lot different. There will not be any children in our building, but rather they will participate in an online virtual summer camp from June 8-July 30.
PT’s main focus is and always has been on reading and reading retention. This year the focus will shift. We will send kids home with food and supplies for art, play, social-emotional learning and reading.
We need your help collecting these supplies to distribute this summer! All supplies can be sent or taken to Meridian Street United Methodist Church, 5500 N. Meridian St. You can find things needed on the
supply list
or order via PT’s
Amazon
wish list.
You are wondering how you can help this year? Help with the supply list! Around 10 volunteers age 18-64 are needed during each of our distribution dates.
You can also sign up to receive a daily
prayer guide
each day this summer during PT.
If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please email
Amy
Sell who will be happy to answer your questions and get you plugged into this amazing ministry!
