Middle and high school students (and their wonderful parents!) are invited to attend the meeting following the 10am service in the Youth Loft.

Photos in the Undercroft!
You may have noticed over the past year or so that there are photographs on display in the undercroft that change throughout the year. They are a project of Chuck Serpan, a newer member of the choir, and an avid traveler who takes pictures along the way. Currently there are pictures from Japan, Ireland where he participated in a choral festival last summer, Prague, Great Falls, and Charleston SC where he sang in the Piccolo Spoletto Festival a few years ago. The photo in the stairwell has a connection to the origami birds hanging in our church. Read the caption on the picture or just ask him about it. (He doesn't bite!) Watch this space for news of a new display that will be coming soon! Questions: Please contact Chuck at [email protected].
Save the Date!
Kenya Night - Saturday, October 20 at 6pm in the Undercroft!
The Outreach Committee warmly invites you to join the fun again this year's "Kenya Night" in support of the Nyumbani Orphanage in Kenya and their programs which support both children and caregivers suffering from HIV/AIDS. Please join us for a night of dinner and dancing with a tribal flair, Kenyan craft boutique, children's crafts, raffles and more! The event will run from 6-9:30pm. (There will be a cash bar for this event.) Funds raised will be used to purchase a new greenhouse to grow food for the children and caregivers. Donations of wool yarn and razor scooters in good condition would also be joyously accepted! For more information, please contact Tina Cleland at 301-946-0921.
