We are looking for CNN hosts for the first Wednesdays of the month for 2021. Call the Chamber or email Kasey if your business would like to host!

Jaime Grant; Coffeyville Recreation Commission:
  • Late registration is now offered online for the second session basketball.
  • Gingerbread Houses kits available to order. Have fun with a pre-made house and all the goodies to decorate with to be picked up at the CRC Office. Registration Fee:$8.00 in district / $10.00 out of district Deadline: December 16th (preregister online or at the CRC Office) Friday, December 18th (Pick up kits by 5pm).

Bob York; ReAwakening, Commissioner:
  • Christmas on the Plaza kicks off this Friday after the Christmas parade! They have over 30 vendors! Be sure to hang around when the parade is over.

John Nichols; Nichols Hitching Post/Maple Street Meat Market:
  • Grandma's Old Fashioned Kettle Korn and Perry's Pork Rinds will be in front of Nichols Hitching Post Friday afternoon and evening for the Christmas Parade.

Kisha Johnson; KFAN/Mary Kay:
  • Adopt a grandparent! Purchase a $20 Mary Kay basket that will be delivered to local nursing homes. You can choose to adopt as many as you wish! They will be set up at the Reawakening office during Christmas on the Plaza.
  • KFAN is needing help with donations for Christmas gifts for kids. If you can help, please let Kisha know.

Jacob Rexwinkle; Equity Bank:
  • Equity Bank lobby is still open! Stop in for your banking needs.

Joe Brooks; Salvation Army:
  • They are needing more volunteers. Call 620-870-9261.
  • Angel trees are up at Lieberts and Wal-Mart so be sure to pick an angel and donate some gifts! Shoe Sensation also has a "Shoe Tree".

Chuck McFate; First Presbyterian Church/Daylight Defenders:
  • Tickets are now on sale for Christmas Candlelit Tours at the Brown Mansion! There is LIMITED QUANTITY so don’t wait and get your tickets! Masks will be required during the tour, $6 per person. Get your tickets at: Candlelit Tour Tickets
Skylar Hix; Sunflower Soda Shop:
  • With it getting cold outside stop in for some delicious hot chocolate, hot or frozen! When you’re in get your punchcard, every 10th punch means $10 off your next order!

Pat McCoy; First United Methodist Church:
  • Due to the upswing in COVID-19 infections they have suspended their in-person services and are having ZOOM Sunday Worship Services at 10am. See their Facebook or call 620-205-9030 for the ZOOM number.
  • This week Household and Hygiene Products is the theme for the Christmas Blessing Baskets.
  • Pastor Mark continues his daily devotional book study on Facebook, and he has a Tuesday ZOOM book study “Christianity’s Family Tree” by Adam Hamilton.

Kari Price; JAC:
  • Flocks of Flamingos is done. They will resume next October. The JAC will be at the Reawakening office during Christmas on the Plaza offering gift wrapping!

Candi Westbrook; Chamber:
  • Christmas Buck give away kicks off Dec 4th. Spend $50 at a participating business and receive $10 back in bucks. Follow our FB page for more details.
  • Christmas Parade is December 4th and kicks off at 6pm. Parade route and line up will be posted Thursday morning.
  • Week two Dessert Auction will be this Thursday starting at 1pm. Bid live on Facebook on your favorite dessert, just in time for the holidays.
  • Christmas Lighting Contest is underway. Submit a picture of your display and address to our contest page or email to the Chamber. Three lucky winners will receive free electric for the month of December.
  • Shout out to our community and the amazing giving spirit. Match Day and Giving Tuesday were a huge success. Watch the video to find out how much was raised this year!
