Spotlight on Grace:
Bells & Del's

Next Sunday, September 9th, following the 10 a.m. service, we'll have a parish celebration to kick off the fall season at Grace. Part of the celebration will include the ringing of the church bells (that's the "Bells" part). While we've had the bells in the church tower since 1861, the computer that rang them for the last 20 years finally gave out last year. Thanks to a generous donation from former parishioners Todd and Zoe Hart, we've installed a new computer system, and the bells will ring once again after church on the 9th, as they'd been doing since just before the Civil War.

What's with the Del's? It rhymes with "bells," and who doesn't like frozen lemonade? So we're going to have a frozen lemonade cart on the 9th, too. (Just a heads up - you'll have to wait until after church to get your lemonade.)

Lastly but not least-ly, "Bells and Del's" will host a parish ministry fair, with information tables about the various ministries here at Grace, where you can learn how to get involved more deeply in the life of this unique parish. It will also be the Sunday of our "return" to the church building itself, after worshipping in the Pavilion all summer, which we termed "Summer Chapel at Grace."

If you have any friends who you'd been thinking about inviting to Grace, "Bells and Del's" on Sunday the 9th would be a great time to do it!

Come to the Cabaret for Collegium Ancora

Collegium Ancora, the vocal ensemble in residence at Grace, invites you to their first-ever Cabaret evening held in the Pavilion at Grace, Saturday, September 15 at 6 PM. Click here for information and tickets, and please tell your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors by sharing this Facebook event post.

The Collegium singers will step out of their usual ensemble to present interpretations of show tunes, torch songs, and contemporary cabaret: prepare to laugh, cry, and be dazzled.

Enjoy light hors d'oeuvres, drinks, and music that is familiar, unexpected, and sure to delight. Proceeds from the evening will support our expanding programming across the region. This evening will officially launch our third season, so come be the first to hear about an exciting slate of concerts and venues for the year ahead.

Tickets are available individually, in pairs, or in tables of eight. We anticipate this event will sell out, so be sure to get your tickets today!
