Panther News June 17 , 2018
Congratulations Pacific Class of 2018!
Pacific School
Enlightening minds, building character, leading by example.

Dear Pacific Parents,

Pacific is a wonderful school because of our dedicated teachers, hardworking classified staff, delightful students and all of you!  The PTA volunteers were publicly thanked last week at our Volunteer Appreciation event. Our school is so fortunate to have the hundreds of hours you dedicate to school events.  I want to personally thank our safety committee, headed by Sharon Witzansky and a small but active group of parents, with a special shout out to Lisa Pena.  Also, our two amazing PTA Presidents Erin Levin and Erin Gordon Grady.  They have been a dynamic duo and have served Pacific well.
Thank you very much for the very generous Gift of Thanks.  Your volunteering and daily support mean the world to me, and the thoughtful end of the year gift cards just add to why you help make my job the best it can possibly be.
A sincere congratulations to our fifth grade students as they leave Pacific and enter Middle School.  I wish them continued success as they begin their next journey.
Wishing each of you a summer filled with family and fun.
I look forward to another great year of working together for student success.

Best,

Rhonda Steinberg
Proud principal

Makerspace - Summer Ideas
Panthers, over the summer, please save all of your empty paper towel and toilet paper rolls for Makerspace. We also need: corks, cardboard boxes of all sizes, plastic recyclable containers and lids, etc. They will be put to very good use in the new school year. Also; if you are missing Makerspace over the summer, log on to Design Squad at pbskids.org/designsquad and choose the Build tab for some ideas. They have projects that only require simple household items. Enjoy! See you in August!
