Call to Meeting
In accordance with the Book of Order, Form of Government G-3.0304, and the Bylaws of the Presbytery of the Twin Cities Area, the Presbytery will meet in stated session beginning at 4:00 pm at Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 507 County Road 134, Buffalo, MN 55313.
At this meeting:

Moderator Rocky Rockenstein will introduce the theme for our next year of stated meetings, "Nurturing thoughtful expressions of God's mission in the world," and how we will integrate the work of our presbytery meetings with our presbytery's overall priorities to support congregations and equip leaders.

We welcome special guests for our learning and inspiration:

Jessica Tate, Executive Director, NEXT Church and Shavon Starling-Lewis, Co-Chair, NEXT Church Strategy Team, have been invited to help us imagine our call to a missional understanding of ministry, as part of this year's overall theme.
o
Tyler Holm, Co-Mission Worker in Malawi, will be present for dinner conversations and fellowship.

2018 Congregational Grant Awards will be announced by Committee on Congregational Vitality.
·
Inquirer Madeline Hart-Andersen will be presented by Committee on Preparation for Ministry, for examination to become a Candidate under our care.
·
Our Delegation to the 223rd General Assembly will report on the actions of that body.
·
There will be business from the Board of Trustees and the Committee on Ministry important to our common life together.
·
We will recognize and honor Risa Anderson, in advance of her retirement, for her service to our presbytery.
Dinner
will be available for 100 people at $10.00 per person with ten vegetarian meals.
Childcare
for infants through upper elementary age will be available if requested in advance. Please contact the Presbytery office by September 6, 2018 if you would like to use this service, so the church knows how many volunteers it will need.
There is ample, free parking available in the church parking lot.
