Join the English Conversation Program
International and American students have the opportunity to expand their worldviews, improve their intercultural communication skills and make friends from different cultural backgrounds. Students will be put in groups of five or six based on their availability and diversity of background to meet throughout the semester for the purpose of having great conversations and experiences.

International Film Series
The Office of International Affairs collaborates with the Gateway Film Center to host a monthly international film series. Students have the chance to view films from around the world for free! The next film has changed and will be Canadian documentary, Anthropocene: The Human Epoch, which argues that the Holocene Epoch gave way to the Anthropocene Epoch due to profound and lasting human changes to the Earth. The film will be shown on Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. at the Gateway Film Center. Admission is FREE for students with a BuckID and offered at regular price to the public.

Global Engagement Night invites international and domestic students to interact and have cross-cultural discussions. Global Engagement Night takes place on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. in 160 Enarson Classroom Building during spring and autumn. The next Global Engagement Night will be on September 10, and we will explore Columbus. Snacks will be provided! Contact Shaniqua Ingol if you have any questions.
