Yesterday evening we hosted our first live race in our newly launched eMotorsports series initiative, as part of our Diversionary Therapy Program. This was race 1, from Summit Point, of a 6 race series on the iRacing platform.

Our aim is to continue to keep beneficiaries engaged through some form of Motorsport in these difficult times, either through driving/racing or as a spectator.

We are thrilled to report that the first event was a resounding success with 13 drivers entered and just shy of 100 fans catching the racing action.

For those not driving we utilize the Twitch app to provide a live moderated broadcast that allows beneficiaries, supporters and fans to watch and interact on chat or ask questions about programs and activities.

Everyone was entertained to a 30 minute open practice, a 10 minute qualifying session and a 30 lap / 70 minute race.

Going forward we invite any beneficiaries, drivers and supporters who want to get involved and give back, to contact Jason Leach at Jason.Leach@operationmotorsport.org

Next race is June 2 at Tsukuba Circuit.
