May 29th 4 PM: IIC Webinar on
World Refugee Day & Value our Families Campaign

Please join Interfaith Immigration Coalition Webinar on Tuesday, May 29th at 4 PM ET/ 1 PM PT focusing on World Refugee Day and Value Our Families to stop Anti-immigrant legislation.

World Refugee Day
June 20th is World Refugee Day and this year it will be extremely important to have robust community engagement to show the broad support for the refugee program as the Trump administration actively tries to dismantle refugee resettlement all together. This webinar will give concrete action steps to create events, engage your faith community and take action to defend refugee rights this June. See  Refugee Council USA toolkit for more information.

Also, as we approach World Refugee Day, please begin to plan your congregation's "Refugee and Immigrant Welcome Sunday," on JUNE 17th (or another Sunday soon)!  Find lots of planning and background materials here.

Value Our Families and Stop Anti-Immigrant Bills
In the midst of the hardline anti-immigrant Goodlatte bill that could move through the House of Representatives, it is extremely important that we advocate to value our family based immigration system. Together we can strategize and take action to push back against the harsh rhetoric of "chain" migration.
