One to One Chromebook Distribution @ VVMS

7th and 8th grade Aug. 27 and 28 from 1:00-3:00PM

6th grade: Aug. 28th, 9:00 am-10:30 am at Orientation

New for 2018-19:

Security Vestibules for all three schools- will not be complete until mid-late October- security will not be compromised

Class III special police officers one per school

For the first time in 15 years the district will not need to utilize substandard instructional space

Please note: The Central Office is now located in Town Hall on the 2^nd floor and the Special Services Department is now located in the trailer in front of RV.

Important Notice about Busing

Attention Parents and Guardians:

Transportation information is available on the Genesis Parent Portal - please make sure to read the information carefully as it often changes year to year. If you have any questions please contact the transportation department at [email protected] or 973-983-6530 ext. 2410.

Important Chromebook Information for Middle School Parents/Guardians

If you have not yet picked up your student's Chromebook, they will be available for pickup on Thurs., Sept 6 beginning at 5:45 PM. Back to school night will begin promptly at 6:30 PM in the gymnasium. Chromebooks will not be required in classes or for homework until Tues., Sept. 11. Before pick up, please review the following documents and bring the completed signature form and a check made payable to Denville Board of Education for $29.

New Denville BOE Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Construction of the new space on the second floor of the Township Municipal Building started in December 2017 and the Board of Education moved in to the new location on June 1, 2018. Please join us as we formally open the new offices with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Mon., Sept 17 at 7 PM.

Foundation of Denville Golf Outing

Community Optical Fair

The Morris County Council of Education and Optical Academy are hosting a Community Optical Fair on Sat., September 22nd from 9 AM - 1 PM at the Zeris Inn in Mountain Lakes. Discounts are available to all Morris County residents.

Indian Lake House Tour

Don't miss seven beautiful and unique homes on the Indian Lake House Tour. The tour will be held on Sunday, Sept 16th from 11 AM- 3 PM. Tickets are $20. Click on the picture for details.

Denville Inclusive Preschool Program

Denville Township Schools is offering an Inclusive Preschool Program for 4 and 5 year olds at Lakeview Elementary School. It will be a 3 hour, 5 day a week program that follows the 10 month calendar. Please click on the picture for information.

LHYMCA Childcare Program at LV has openings

The LHYMCA childcare program at Lakeview has openings for more students. Please click on the logo for more information on the YMCA and other am/pm childcare options.

Alliance 5K #Breakthrough Run

The Alliance 5K #Breakthrough Run will be held on September 30th at MacKinnon Middle School in Wharton. There will be a 1 mile fun run at 8:30 AM and a 5K Run at 9AM. Click here or on the picture for details.

NJC Youth Chorus Open House

There will be an open house for the NJ Conservatory Youth Choruses for the 2018-2019 season on Wednesday, Sept. 19th and Wed., Sept. 26th at 7 PM. Learn about their programs and perform with orchestras. Please click here for details.
