SAGES Christmas

Wednesday, December 11, at 11:30am, our senior adults  will have a covered dish spread of tasty dishes as they celebrate the Christmas season. Enjoy wonderful music from the Building Blocks pre-school children and a special performance by the Central High School music department under the direction of Leigh Ann McClure. Come and be inspired with the sounds of Christmas joy.
Angel Tree Christmas Party

We have adopted and collected gifts for our Christmas angels, now it is time for them to receive them. If you would like to serve for the Angel Tree Christmas Party on December 15, from 4-6pm,  click here!
Early Access to the Online Directory

Is your small group interested in signing up early for the Keller UMC Online Directory? If you would like a staff member to visit your group for about 20 minutes at one of your regular meetings in January, we can sign up anyone who is interested and actually go through the process of downloading the app and signing in. You have to opt in to be included in the directory or access it, so the more people who participate, the more useful it can be for everyone. To schedule a time, please contact Victoria Wilson.

How Will You Serve This Christmas?

For Blue Christmas, Travelers Christmas and 6 services on Christmas Eve, we need 185 people serving in varying roles. Decide which service and how you would like to serve; fill out a label with your name and email address; and place over the appropriate spot on the banner outside the Sanctuary. We still have several spots available! Contact  Kim Kuhlman to see where you could be most helpful!

Pre-Christmas Workday

Many hands are needed for our Annual Christmas Workday, Friday, December 20, at 9am in the Atrium. We will stuff all the bulletins for our Christmas Eve services; put together kids packets; and get the candles ready. If you would like to come and help - all ages welcome. Youth can also earn service hours! Contact Kim Kuhlman if you would like to join the fun!

Nursery Volunteers for Christmas Eve Needed

Share the joy of Christmas with our tiniest members this Christmas Eve! We are in need of a few volunteers to serve in the nursery during the 4,6 and 8pm services. If you can help, contact Kristin to sign up.
Caroling with KUMC

December 14, all are invited to join us for worship at 5pm. Afterward we will enjoy a Nacho Bar in the Atrium before we head to Evergreen Retirement Center for Christmas Caroling!
Get Connected!

We would like to invite you to Connection Point! This is a time for visitors, new members, and those who have been a part of the church family for a while to come learn more about Keller UMC, the United Methodist Church and opportunities for next steps here in our faith community. Join us  Sunday December 15, at 9:30 or 11am in DAC 414. Contact Pastor Lauren with questions.
A Thirteenth Month

Friends, In worship this past weekend a financial update was shared. The leadership of KUMC desires to not only end 2019 well, but also begin the coming year on a solid foundation. In an effort to build this foundation, KUMC invites members give a "13th month" gift to the budget this Christmas season. This gift will allow KUMC to do some exciting things at the start of 2020 like mid-week programming and expanded child care opportunities. Additionally, it will allow KUMC to attend to building and grounds needs by completing the Sanctuary cross repair and addressing drainage concerns. If, after prayerful consideration, you would like to give a "13th month" you can do so with a gift to the general operating fund in the collection plate or  online

On behalf of the leadership at KUMC and the work of Christ being done in and through this place, we thank you for your generosity and faithfulness.
Blue Christmas
December 18, 6:30pm

The Christmas season is filled with wrapped boxes, blinking lights, and decorated conifers. Joy and excitement surround us wherever we go. For many, however, the Christmas season is filled with painful reminders; reminders of lost loved ones, divorce or separation, lost jobs. Join us in the Sanctuary for Blue Christmas worship as we unite for a time of honest reflection, acknowledge the painful experiences we face, share in Holy Communion, and look ahead to hope and new life.
Mission 1025 Cookie Drop

Pick up boxes at the Welcome Desk to take home and fill with homemade cookies. Then take them to a friend, neighbor, co-worker or someone you run into in your day-to-day errands. Boxes are labeled with an invitation to Christmas Eve worship. We also have boxes with labels for those treats you wish to deliver to people in the community who are working on Christmas Day. Cookie Drop Boxes are available for pick up through  December 22. Contact  Cathy Dill for details!
No Sunday School December 22 and 29

A friendly reminder that Youth and Children's Sunday school will not be meeting. We encourage you to worship as a family!
