With the assistance of our amazing partners, the Foundation's 2019 Lend a Hand program was able to help over 1400 students start the year off strong by providing them with new backpacks filled with essential school supplies.

That’s over 18,000 pencils, 750,000 sheets of paper and 1,200 families getting the support they need! A BIG thanks to our community of donors. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Our deepest thanks to: A Precious Child, Cherry Hills Community Church, Douglas County Libraries, Catholic Charities - Castle Rock, Hope & Help Center, Sky Ridge Medical Center, Waste Management, Cornerstone Church SBC, Plum Creek Church, Canyons Community Church, Calvary Chapel, Mountain View Christian Church, Shine Church and Texas Roadhouse-Parker.
Would your business like to meet the next generation of employees?  Join other Douglas County and Metro Denver businesses at this year's 8th Grade Career Expo at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Eighth grade students from across the Douglas County School district will meet industry professionals to develop an understanding of the cross-section of high demand jobs available to them in the future.
Please Welcome the Foundation's New Accounting Manager, Amanda Ravsten

Amanda graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. She started off her career as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and then transitioned to a tax accountant for a wealth management firm. Amanda looks forward to helping the Foundation streamline their financial reporting.

Amanda has three children attending schools within district and loves spending time exploring Colorado with her family. Fun fact: Amanda tries to "maintain her sanity" by going to the gym and is going for a national record in power-lifting this fall.
Calling all Chapter Officers!

We are looking forward to kicking off this new school year with our annual Back-to-School Chapter Meeting the evening of Wednesday, September 4th. At least one officer from each chapter needs to attend this meeting as there is a lot of valuable information being communicated. It will be held at the Millhouse in the Phillip S Miller Park, 1375 W. Plum Creek Parkway, Castle Rock at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will include a vendor fair, general meeting and break-out session.
For every car repaired by Hail Free Solutions , they will donate $50 to the Foundation and $100 to the Douglas County school of your choice AND give an additional rebate of $100 to the customer with the option to be donated back to the school!
