Shadow Husky Rescue saved this 8 month old female husky named Mulan that was hit by a car and left to die in a field with a broken front leg. She was picked up by some good people on Saturday February 16th and they brought her to our adoption event at PetSmart in Menifee for help on Sunday February 17th. They couldn’t afford to take her to the vet and we couldn’t turn our backs on this sweet girl! Her front left leg was broken, the people tried to cover it with a wrap but it was still expose, so we rushed her over to the Emergency Pet Clinic to get her emergency treatment! They couldn't save the leg because of the infection and how badly it was broken so they amputated it. She's now been adopted by our wonderful adopter Wendy Cronk who adopted Echo (Coco) from us last year!!

Mally and Laska head home...
|
Mally is our medical rescue we saved last year, and since then he has been through so much!! Now Mally and Laska are moving on to their forever family in Idaho to be with Marie and our other rescues, Bernie (Scoot) and George (Coop)! Here is what Lisa Vafiades, Mally and Laska's AMAZING foster had to say about them moving on:
"The hardest part of fostering dogs is the day they leave. Today is that day. Mally & Laska are on their way to their new home in Idaho. So many memories! Each and every dog has a unique personality and it's easy to fall in love with every single one. Mally is SO very special! He has been through so much and overcome adversity like a champ. Laska is SO very loving! Most people say they don't want to foster because they know it will be painful when they leave. But it won't be painful for the dogs to go to their new loving family & home. That is what it's all about.
Today I am missing Mally & Laska but I am happy for them and their Happily Ever After Together Forever!"
We are so happy that Mally and Laska get to stay together and be a big happy family with their new parents and big brothers!

Snowden is a very special boy and is need of an adopter that can give him the love, attention, and patience he needs. He is a very sweet boy once he knows he is safe and you can be trusted. He needs time to warm up to people. He was rescued from the shelter, before that he was living on the street. We would like him in a home with a couple or single person, no young kids please. He will make a great loyal companion for someone that is willing to give him the time and dedication he needs to get comfortable.

Koshoo is looking for a forever home that can give him the attention, care, and exercise he needs to live a happy life. He is a beautiful husky mix who is about 3 years old. He is good with other dogs and loves people!

TWENTY 19 PET WALK
May 11, 2019 9am - 11am
Shadow Husky Rescue will be a vendor at the Twenty19 Pet Walk in Lake Elsinore, CA. This 1.5 scenic walk will begin at 9am, free to attend. Come out and enjoy a nice walk with your dogs and meet vendors like our rescue and others!
