Editor's Note
Turn, Turn, Turn

Competitive swimmers don't like slowing down in their races.  Yet s o many of us have gained 30 seconds or more, over the years, on favorite events. It seems that the faster the swimmer, the greater the despair over slower swim times.  Advice from Coach Chris Campbell of Mountain View Masters is to set new baselines on our races with each new Age Group.  Setting new, achievable goals every five years is a mindset that allows us to grow with grace, humility and accepta nce.  We are no longer the shadow of yesteryear as we  "turn the page to a new age group."
