A $2K Historic Image on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach
is Missing -- Again
For the second year in a row, a piece of the Worth Avenue clock tower in Palm Beach has gone missing. According to a police report, the picture affixed to the top of the bronze plaque facing north on the clock tower - which depicts the original Palm Beach pier - was reported missing July 5.

This Historic Palm Beach Home Won't Be Demolished After All, Lawyer Says
A deal to sell Palm Beach's second-oldest house is almost complete, potentially ending a seven-month saga between the owner and the town over plans to demolish the building. Paul Maddock, owner of Duck's Nest, the historic home at 305 Maddock Way, and his lawyer, Peter Broberg, are "working toward closing" a sale of the home, Broberg said Monday.

The Town of Palm Beach announces a board member opening for an alternate position on the Town's Code Enforcement Board effective July 2018. The Code Enforcement Board hears cases involving violations of the Town Code and ordinances, and imposes administrative fines and other noncriminal penalties where a pending or repeated violation exists.
