Civic Association Primary Candidates Meet & Greet Event
The Palm Beach Civic Association is holding a Primary Candidates Meet & Greet Event on Monday, August 20, 2018, from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM at Meat Market in the Town of Palm Beach. The Civic Association is hosting the event to help citizens make  informed decisions in the August 28 Primary Election.

Palm Beach Town Council Approves New Rec Center, Bigger Budget
The Town Council approved construction of a new Seaview Park recreation center last week, but not before a four-hour discussion, staunch opposition from one council member and an explanation of why the center's budget had increased by more than $2 million.

is Missing -- Again

For the second year in a row, a piece of the Worth Avenue clock tower in Palm Beach has gone missing. According to a police report, the picture affixed to the top of the bronze plaque facing north on the clock tower - which depicts the original Palm Beach pier - was reported missing July 5.

This Historic Palm Beach Home Won't Be Demolished After All, Lawyer Says
Duck's Nest
A deal to sell Palm Beach's second-oldest house is almost complete, potentially ending a seven-month saga between the owner and the town over plans to demolish the building. Paul Maddock, owner of Duck's Nest, the historic home at 305 Maddock Way, and his lawyer, Peter Broberg, are "working toward closing" a sale of the home, Broberg said Monday.
