Gypsy moth and cankerworm update
Aerial spraying expected to start next week
The town is expected to begin its aerial spray program on Friday, May 25 in select woodlands to help control the infestation of gypsy moth and cankerworm.

Please note that timing may change depending on weather conditions.

The aerial spray application uses a safe and natural biological treatment.  No special precautions are required for residents near the spray areas, however some roads and woodlands will be closed briefly while the spraying takes place.

Stay up-to-date on spray dates, view the map of the spray zone, and find more information at oakville.ca.
