An Evening of Female Comics & MORE!

For the seventh year in a row, Teri Foltz will emcee this fun, funny fundraiser at Go Bananas Comedy Club, featuring stand-up comedy, pint-sized plays, storytelling and lip sync battles. Don't miss this WWf(a)C all-star line up, with Mary Pierce Brosmer, Lisa Rocklin, Drue Johnston, Eva Lewandowski, Teri Foltz, Sandy Lingo, Claudia Kasvin, Randy Weeks, Charlie Lobosco, Darby Lyons and Suz Fleming.

Spotlight on...Elizabeth Mannion

I took a sampler class in the beginning of 2014 with Phebe's Thursday morning writing group and was immediately drawn in to Women Writing for (a) Change. I had heard about the writing classes from various writing friends but had delayed joining myself for years as other obligations kept me busy. As women we tend to let things that enrich ourselves be the last on the list. Finally I realized it was time to nurture myself and Women Writing for (a) Change was the perfect fit. Read more...

Manuel Iris Hosts

Poetry Reading At WWf(a)C

August 3rd - 7pm

Cincinnati Poet Laureate Manuel Iris is hosting a monthly poetry reading at various locations around the city. Themed "All We Have in Common," readings will take place on the first Friday of every month and start at 7pm. WWf(a)C is pleased to be the venue for this program on August 3rd, 2018. Featured poets to be announced. Time will be set aside for the audience to read some poetry during the open mic. No registration required. Please join us!
