about what we do not see.

Honor Our Veterans at Calvary Cemetery

Anoka American Legion, in cooperation with Calvary Cemetery, places a flag on the graves of our veterans buried at Calvary Cemetery. If your loved one is buried at Calvary and has not had a flag on his or her grave for past Memorial Days, please contact our parish office no later than Tuesday, May 22 so that we can include a flag this Memorial Day. (Flag holders will be placed on graves Wednesday.)

Call the parish office at 763-421-2471. Leave the veteran's name, date of death (or approximate) and your name and a contact phone number in case we need to call you back. Thank you.
Memorial Day Mass

Good weather permitting, the Knights of Columbus, in conjunction with the Boy Scouts, will be hosting another Memorial Day Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Anoka on Monday, May 28, at 9:00 a.m. If the weather is not so nice, Mass will be held in the church at 9:30 a.m. We will have approximately 150 chairs set up in the cemetery, but if you want to be sure of a seat, we suggest you bring your own lawn chairs.

The location for the Mass is being changed this year to a more open area where we can better protect the existing grave sites. The new location will be in the southeast corner of the new section near the garage, on the new, wide entrance road. Just look for the chairs and the crowd. And pray for nice weather!

St. Stephen's Calvary Cemetery has undergone a facelift that has beautified and enhanced the entrance and access.  If you are visiting Calvary Cemetery for the Memorial Day Mass or to visit the graves of family and friends, you will see these improvements.  Learn more.
Corpus Christi Procession

Sunday, June 3, is the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi).  The procession will take place at the end of the 10:30 a.m. Mass.  We encourage everyone to come and participate in this great celebration of our faith.
