Well, hello there!
For those of you I have not met - My name is Kristen Steinke-Combe and I am the new Chair of the Board of this most excellent institution.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our members for their support and participation as well as my predecessors - because of you this Chamber has a foundation and heart that has stood the test of time, recovered from financial challenge and is growing and thriving.

While I fill this seat, I pledge to clearly advocate on behalf of the businesses in our community at the Council level and beyond.

It is no secret that chambers of commerce have been undergoing a sea change - much in the same way some of our trades have been changing, but the Chamber will change and grow to meet these needs.
I will be particularly focused on the solvency and security of the institution.

I am dedicated to providing and maintaining a robust Chamber community that supports its fellow members and I am here for only a short period to ensure that this institution continues to thrive and I promise my very best effort.

Thank you again for entrusting me with this important job. I am excited for the future and look forward to a prosperous year with all of you.

Cheers!
