First Friday Food Truck Frenzy

It's not just amazing... it's SANDMAZING! This year we have partnered up with Kettering Physician Network to make this the BEST year ever! This year we are welcoming you to the JUNGLE.

Join us all week long for Austin Landing’s fourth annual SANDMAZING event! Internationally known sand sculptors will be in The Park at Austin Landing all week long sculpting multiple TEN TON sand sculptures and one MEGA 30 TON sculpture during lunch and dinner hours! 
Round up the family and all of your friends and have a SANDMAZING time at Austin Landing!

Join us for Austin Landing’s first ever Fitness Fest benefitting  Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) ! This is a one of a kind event filled with vendors, additional fitness activities featuring the nations FIRST public Ninja Warrior Obstacle course, beer garden, fitness classes and more! All proceeds benefit our friends at JDRF.
Activities Include: 
  • A large variety of fitness, health and wellness vendors
  • The nations FIRST portable Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course
  • Clash on the Concrete CrossFit Competition powered by Crossfit Skyfall

JACK-FM’s Danielle will be broadcasting live from 4-6pm. The Humane Society of Greater Dayton will be on site with a dog looking for its forever-home and collecting donations. We’ll have free doggie treats & toys while supplies last, along with your chance to win gift cards from Pet Valu at Austin Landing, concert tickets, and Reds Field level seats for an upcoming game.

Alex Scott issued her lemonade stand challenge, encouraging people everywhere to hold lemonade stands during one weekend in June to help fight childhood cancer – “One Cup At A Time.” Firebirds is honored to be a part of Alex’s vision again this year by participating in Alex’s Lemonade Days. We will be hosting a Lemonade Stands at all 47 Firebirds locations the weekend of June 8 th -10 th . Beginning May 25th, our Big Daddy Lemon Cake will be available and a $1 donation will be donated back to ALSF with purchase. In addition, we will be accepting donations in the restaurant and online at https://www.alexslemonade.org/mypage/1451971 .

Our mission is to create awareness for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and their efforts to find a cure for childhood cancer. Our goal is to raise $100,000 with 100% of the proceeds going directly to ALSF. We have raised over $1,000,000 with our ongoing Alex’s Lemonade Stand initiative where $1.25 is donated for every fresh squeezed glass of lemonade sold daily. Our signature Lemonade, "Alex's Lemonade", is named in honor of such a brave young lady (Alex’s Documentary - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upmUrxmFSA0 ).

Francis Scott Key  Inspired by the British bombardment of Fort McHenry, Francis Scott Key penned the lyrics to our national anthem as he witnessed the event as British rockets whizzed in the air while our American Flag flew in the breeze.
