STAFFING UPDATE
Welcome, Tina Pap!
A new hire helps to increase capacity and engage members
Please join us in welcoming Tina Pap as the new Program Specialist for the WI CCC Program!
Tina will soon become a familiar face for WI Cancer Council members.
In her role as Program Specialist, she will provide meeting and event support, as well as overall administrative assistance. In addition, Tina will help organize and manage the member database and will help team members in communicating with the WI Cancer Council membership.
"I look forward to getting to know Council members across the state in the coming months," Tina says. "I was very excited to find a position where I could use my knowledge of university systems, and build upon my interest in reducing the risk of cancer."
Tina and her family recently relocated to Madison from Iowa City. Prior to joining the team, Tina worked at the University of Iowa as an Undergraduate Studies and Outreach Coordinator, where she worked with students and faculty on events, marketing, and outreach. Her husband, Andrew, is a resident at UW Hospital. They are the proud parents of 17-month-old Owen.
"Tina's enthusiasm, attention to detail, and her self-starter mentality are huge assets to our team," says Program Director Sarah Kerch. "In the short time that she's been here, Tina has already helped us increase our capacity to better serve our members. We look forward to all of the wonderful work we will do with her on the team!"

BREAST CANCER DATA
Providers, Let's Talk Breast Cancer
Help us ID primary care providers for an important survey
Do you know a primary care provider in southeastern Wisconsin? If so, we need your help.
The WI Breast Cancer Task Force is surveying primary care providers across southeastern Wisconsin about their beliefs and behaviors related to breast cancer screening.
The information collected will be extremely valuable to health systems for planning quality improvement efforts and will inform outreach and screening initiatives.
Columbia St. Mary's Ascension, ProHealth, and Progressive Health Center have already participated. We hope to include several other large and small health systems and clinics.
>> Spread the word.
To share this with a provider, clinic, or health system, please contact Sarah Mroz at
